Full Moon Hash #155 – October

el Puerco will be haring the October Full Moon Hash.

When: 13 October 2017

Where: TBC

Cost: ~15,000 kyat for drinks & dinner

Don’t forget to bring a torch/head lamp, and consider wearing bright hash-attire.

General Full Moon Hash details:

The meet up point for full moon hashes changes month to month – it’s generally somewhere close enough to downtown for folks to get to after work, as it’s usually held on a weeknight.

The focus for the full moon run is generally drinking, with a shorter run and longer drinking and eating times, but this is a “guide” that not all full moon hares follow.

When running in the dark in Yangon, a torch is essential.  Consider bright clothing.

Run #1550: The Sparkly Ockoberfest Hash (21 Oct)

Don’t miss this very special hash  event to celebrate one of the hash’s core values: drinking!

Hares: Ain’t Ze Bush and Comatose

Run Details: Normal meeting place. The run will be short and will finish near the Rose Garden Hotel, and showers will be made available, so you can bring your party clothes to change into.

Run Cost: normal fee: 5000 MMK

OnOn Details: Oktoberfest celebration at the Rose Garden Hotel. YH3 has VVIP tables reserved. Time: from 5pm until late

OnOn Cost: Early bird tickets no longer available, but you may still be able to get tickets directly through the event organizers

Run #1493: Multicultural mayhem run (1 Oct)

Jonathan Pua and Ricardo Delgadillo are bringing us a multicultural run on Saturday 1 October (aren’t all runs multicultural??)

For those who can’t make it to University Avenue Rd, Run #1493 will be in Thanlyin. The starting point is the pagoda on the first lane on the right after the golf course (Tapinshwehtee St) off Kyikekhauk Pagoda Road.

Run in Brief

Run 1441

Little Boy employed the services of Bushy for his virgin haring experience.  The boys trekked out through the jungles of Yangon to find a run that only walkers could set.

It started with great excitement, racing through streets and over train bridges only to come to a screeching halt 2 K into the run for the first beer stop. The pack was lost on major roads due to the chalk marking confusion.  Apparently YH3 can’t be flexible. The run ended with a 1 K dash down the railroad tracks and finished in a puddle of mud.
